Staff-broadcast feed for guild-wide notices. Lives under MANAGEMENT → Announcements.

Who can see + post

Everyone can read announcements. Manage Announcements is required to create, edit, or delete posts.

What's on the page

A reverse-chronological feed of posts. Each post supports markdown formatting (bold, italic, links, lists, code blocks) — see the inline editor for the supported syntax.

Per-post:

• Author + posted timestamp.
• Body rendered as sanitised markdown.
• Pin (Manage Announcements only) — pinned posts stay at the top.
• Edit / Delete (Manage Announcements only) — edits get an (edited) indicator.

The sidebar shows a badge with the unread count — once a member opens the channel, posts mark as read.

Cross-links

• Settings → Roles — where the Manage Announcements permission is granted.
• Discord Integration — when the bot is paired, announcement posts can optionally be mirrored to a Discord channel.
