Members — Locker assignment
After Settings → Lockers defines the locker groups + counts, this page covers the per-member side: assigning a specific locker to a specific member. The assignment is what makes a member's row on a cut-off task show a locker badge.
Permissions
Manage Lockers — required to assign / unassign lockers on any member, edit the locker group config, or use the bulk reassign view.
Two surfaces to assign from
You can assign lockers from either of two places — pick whichever is convenient:
1. Per-member on #Members
- Open
#Members→ find the member → click their row. - 🔒 Locker section in the drawer → click Assign locker.
- Pick a group + a specific locker number → save.
The member's row gains the locker badge (e.g. H3 — #01). It shows up on cut-off task Recipients tabs as their locker reference.
2. Bulk reassign on #Guild Lockers
For larger reassignment campaigns (e.g. "renovate H1 + reshuffle 14 members across H2/H3"), the #Guild Lockers page has a per-group grid:
- Open
#Guild Lockers(REPORTS → Guild Lockers). - Click a group to expand its slot grid.
- Drag member chips between slots / out to "unassigned".
- Save the reassignment in bulk.
The grid view also surfaces empty slots, who's assigned where, last activity per slot.
Unassigning
Open the member's drawer → Locker section → Unassign. The slot opens up; the member's row loses the badge.
When a cut-off task assigns items to a recipient with no locker, the Recipients tab shows ⚠ "No locker assigned" + a warning to fix it before packing. See Item mode — cut-off + locker.
What a member sees
Members see their own locker assignment on #My Home → Locker (the panel shows group + number + a "view group" link to the locker group's detail page).
Cross-links
- Settings → Lockers — define / edit groups + counts.
- #Guild Lockers — the bulk-grid view of every assignment.
- Item mode — cut-off + locker — the consumer of locker assignments.
